There are a few programs for first time home buyers out there. One is the TEXAS STATE AFFORDABLE HOUSING CORPORATION program. They are offering exclusively to El Paso first time home buyers the opportunity to acquire up to 7% down payment assitance of their loan amount. That is an increase of 2% compared to the amount available for people in other parts of the state. On top of that eligible buyers may recieve a 30-year fixed rate mortgage loan with an interest rate of 4.25%

It is a great time to start the process of becoming a first time home buyer. The assistance is on a first-come, first-served basis and there are certain qualifications. Other programs are available that help with down payment assistance and low interest rates.

If you want to know more about this program or any of the other programs please contact me. 915-497-4505
